Let’s talk about Repentance.

Repentance is a foundational message in the Christ follower’s faith, but it’s often misunderstood.

Repentance, at its core, isn’t an emotion — it’s a reorientation of the entire self toward God. Repentance is movement, not mood; transformation, not torment.

Repentance isn’t “feeling bad enough that God finally forgives you.” It’s turning from one direction to another — from self‑rule to Christ’s rule, from sin’s logic to the kingdom’s logic.

It’s the spiritual equivalent of realizing you’re walking the wrong way down a highway and pivoting before the danger becomes destruction.
