James 1:22 says: “Do what God’s word says. Don’t just listen and fool yourself.” This means that it’s not enough to just hear or read what the Bible says—we have to actually do it. Real faith is shown by how we live, not just what we know.

What should we do?

We need to act on It: When we hear what God wants, we should try to do it, not just know about it.

We must be honest: Just listening and not doing is like tricking ourselves.

We need to show with our actions what we believe.

We need to help others: When we live out God’s word, we’re kind, caring, and helpful to those around us

How can we apply Gods word

Think about what you read in the Bible and how you can use it in your life.

Ask God to help you make the right choices, especially when it’s tough.

Show love, forgiveness, and kindness in real life, not just in words.

Talk about it with friends or people at church, so you can help each other grow.

James 1:22 tells us to live what we learn from God’s word. Don’t just hear it—do it!
