As the colors of summer begin to fade into the rich hues of autumn, we are reminded that God is the Author of every season. Fall invites us to slow down, reflect, and give thanks for the faithfulness of the Lord. Just as the trees release their leaves in preparation for what is to come, we too are called to trust God with every change and transition in our lives. Scripture reminds us:

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

The changing landscape around us speaks of God's ongoing work in creation and in our hearts. While some seasons bring growth and abundance, others bring rest and preparation. Yet in every season, God remains constant.

The psalmist declares: "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

As we enter these autumn months, let us take time to notice God's blessings, gather in fellowship, and continue growing in our faith. May we be rooted deeply in Christ, drawing strength from His Word and bearing fruit that honors Him.

The prophet Jeremiah offers this beautiful promise: “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. 8 He is like a tree planted by water,
    that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

My prayer for each of you is that this season will be one of renewed hope, grateful hearts, and a deeper awareness of God's presence. May we trust Him with today and look forward with confidence to all He has planned.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning."
Lamentations 3:22-23
